Announcement: Creative Photo Walk Event with Tdot Shots (Night Photography Workshop)

We are very excited to present the upcoming light painting and steel wool photography workshop with night photography enthusiast and GTA photographer, Scott Visscher. Hosted by Tdot Shots and Mike Simpson, the event is April 30th at 7:30 pm (rain date one week later May 7 at same time).

We first collaborated with Scott last summer, in the west end at Humber Bay, and we had a great evening with some fantastic light painting and steel wool demonstrations. Hosting an event like this on the waterfront ensures some special images will emerge in the dark!

This time we head to the downtown east at Cherry Beach and the Port Lands, which should present us with some unique locations for photographing Scott’s light visuals. Many shots will have the Toronto skyline in frame, and many will also have Lake Ontario in the background so reflection shots will be possible.

You can register for the event on this site. There is a fee of $10 which covers the costs of the organizers, including travel and props. We limit the attendance to 20 guests. Be sure to buy a ticket today – we expect this event to sell out!

Buy tickets for the event and get some killer night and long exposure photographs for your portfolio!

Bonus: we will invite participants to visit a special online workshop page with tips and technique information – we’ll publish that one week prior to the event.
