Join our Summer Photo Walks and Guided tours of Iconic Toronto Spots and Neighbourhoods

We’re excited to announce our first events of summer, ranging from casual photo walks to guided walking tours, taking place in some of the most beautiful neighbourhoods of the city. Events are co-hosted with our project Iconic Toronto and we often have special guest co-hosts.

On the horizon in June, July and August we have our usual favourites along with some new spots and venues. We invite the community to suggest an event location, whether it’s a free meetup or paid tour. Do you have ideas? Please get in touch via the contact form.

Here are some highlights on the upcoming schedule:

  • High Park photo walk June 9 (free)
  • Public Art guided tour June 21 ($6)
  • Downtown photo walk July 9 (free)
  • University of Toronto & Queen’s Park (U of T) guided tour July 23 ($6)
  • Casa Loma / Annex photo walk August 6 (free for premium members)

Most events are on Sunday evenings. We start about two hours before sunset so you are assured that potential for golden hour colour will be available for your photography. Also, please note you don’t need to have a professional camera – many participants and even some of our pros are happy to shoot with smartphones and we all share tips!

We proudly offer many photo walk events for free. Some others, notably guided tours or special demonstrations, involve paying a small fee. In some cases, events are for private groups or premium Tdot Studio members. Be sure to register to enjoy community perks!

More events to come. Stay tuned to this post or check in at the registration site, tdot.com/events.
