Photo Walk Tour in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (Iconic Toronto History and Arts)

Welcome to the page for our photo walk and tour of Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Our tour this spring on May 10 will be led by Rob Mee and Mike from Tdot Shots.

We will walk the grounds over two hours before sunset. Weather permitting there may be opportunity to shoot cherry blossoms and other spring blooms (they are typical of the first week of May, but not guaranteed). You can buy a ticket for our tour on May 10.

About Mt. Pleasant Cemetery

Mount Pleasant Cemetery is a historic cemetery in Toronto, designated a National Historic Site of Canada, that serves as both a burial ground and a public park. It’s important because it’s a significant example of 19th-century landscape design, a final resting place for prominent figures, and a space for contemplation and recreation.

Mount Pleasant Cemetery is considered to be one of the finest arboretums in Canada. Photographic potential includes nature subjects such as trees and gardens and architectural subjects including headstones and family crypts.
