Spring Photo Walk 2020 Update (University of Toronto Meet-up Cancelled)

Interested in walking tours and photo walk meetups at the University of Toronto? Be sure to search our site for recent posts and view our Tdot Events site. We love the St. George campus, whether we are a large meetup group or a small private walking tour. Contact us to find out when we are visiting next. Hire us to lead your group!

Update: Our First Day of Spring Photo Walk, scheduled for Saturday March 21 at the University of Toronto, is cancelled.

It is with regret that I write this post announcing the cancellation of our first meet-up of 2020. Under the current circumstances it doesn’t seem sensible to ask people to come out to a group event.

Having said that we would encourage you to consider making the trip to the university’s beautiful campus sometime in March. We have published a post about self-guided walks through the U of T and we hope you’ll read, take notes and venture out on your own. Read the blog post!

In past we have met in the unpredictable seasons of spring and fall when U of T is lovely but the city can be rainy and cold. My worst fear when I created the schedule in mid-February was that we might get rained out. This is obviously far worse however. No matter the weather it simply isn’t the right time to host an event that would constitute a group of significant size.

Let’s also consider this a postponement and hope to re-book for late April. Sign up for our email newsletter for updates and follow @tdot_shots on Instagram.

For your information the next two scheduled photo walks:

May 3 – Allen Gardens to Ryerson U. Image Centre (Contact Photo Walk)

May 24 – Osgoode Hall to City Hall (Doors Open Walk)

Here’s hoping all our friends in Tdot and the Greater Toronto Area are faring well during this time. Hope to see you at a future walk in April or May. Crossing my fingers everything settles down by then. All the best!
