Tdot Shots Toronto Photo Contest – Do’s and Don’ts (Tips For You)
Hey everyone,
We are happy to see that our community has started using our hashtag, so here’s some tips that we’ll break down into do’s and don’ts. We enforce the rules strictly so pay attention! 😀
Do
- Post your images and videos between Oct. 3 and Oct. 31
- Use our contest hashtag #Tdot_24 (in caption)
- Follow our page @tdot_shots and our sponsor @prolabcanada
- Use carousels and put your best image at the start
- Describe your process and artistic intent
- View full rules and contest description at the contest page
Don’t
- Ignore the rules (you will be wasting your time!)
- add any text, borders or graphics to your images
- Photoshop your images (sky replacements are a no-no, we will ask for original files
- use wide aspect (16×9, 4×3) as it doesn’t look as good on social
- back tag your old images before Oct. 3, 2024 (they won’t count)
- forget to join our Awards Ceremony Meetup (Nov. 2 – downtown)
That’s all for now. We have included most of the main rules and guidelines here but we absolutely recommend visiting the contest page for more tips and insights into how you might set yourself up for success with this photo contest!
Good luck!
