Meet at Alexandra Gates on Bloor St (near the ROM) at 4 pm

We organize seasonal photo walks. We offer 6-8 meet-ups a year throughout spring, summer, fall and early winter. Registration is not required but you can sign up for updates via the tdotshots.com mailing list and follow our stories on Instagram.

Fall is blooming in Toronto. Maples are going off in all kinds of bright oranges and reds. Other trees are a little slower but we expect in the next week or two for “peak fall” colours to be available all across Toronto and the GTA. Perfect time for a photo walk meetup or two!

This fall we revisit High Park and U of T. These are two of our favourite anytime-of-the-year locations for walking and shooting.

Last year we went to High Park in mid October and it wasn’t quite peak, so this year we figured that the end of the month would be perfect. Keep in mind some trees, like maples will hit their peak now. So when we walk some trees may be bare and others, like oaks, just beginning to turn to gold. By all means make sure to get out all throughout October while the photography is hot!

The University of Toronto (U of T) is a spot we hit multiple times of the year. We walk from Bloor St. through Philosopher’s walk to College St, passing landmarks like Trinity College, Soldier’s Tower and Convocation Hall. As in the caveat above, there’s a chance that in the first week of November we will be post fall peak and some trees may be partially bare. This is particularly beautiful though because new photographic sight-lines reveal themselves as the leaves fall.

If you are interested in these meetups please arrive on time and follow Tdot shots on IG for updates via stories. These events take place weather permitting – if there is rain or snow or high winds we may cancel the event in the hours leading up to the meeting time.

Hope to see you there!
