Year End Wrap-up – Photos from Our 2025 Events (Toronto Photo and Creative Community)
Looking back on 2025 we hosted a dozen events, and while we enjoyed them all, there wee a few standouts. These events had the perfect combo of amazing organizer and participants – and we got some beautiful photos as a bonus to share with you.
Events spotlight – some favourites:
Illuminite Photo Walks with the Downtown Yonge BIA
Long Exposure Photo Walk Workshop with Paul Flynn
Art of Time Webinar and Moon Workshop with Michele Thompson
“Colour City” Photo Contest + Meetup with Tdot Mike
Highlight events
We had over a dozen events but we’d like to feature a few photos from our events with Downtown Yonge BIA, workshops with the amazing GTA photographers Michele Thompson and Paul Flynn, and the meetup for the Colour City Photo Contest with Tdot Mike (Mike Simpson).
Huge shout out to all who came out and got involved!
Event: Illuminite with Downtown Yonge BIA (February 2025)

We had a winter photo walk event in February. It was cold and snowy but lots of fun. There were prizes courtesy of the BIA and the camera shop. We shot the incredible Illuminite light installations and strolled from College Park to Sankofa Square (Formerly Yonge Dundas Square). Thanks to all who attended the the support of the Yonge St. BIA.

Event – Photography Webinar and Workshop with Michele Thompson

Michele led a few workshops and we will draw attention to the both.
The first was the well attended and received “Art of Time” webinar. The second one which took place in fall with the shooting of the full moon. Toronto area photographers enjoyed the multiple events we offered with Michele, a terrific and enthusiastic host.

Long Exposure Photo Walks and Workshops with Paul Flynn (May and October)

We got out twice for incredible workshops with long exposure master Paul Flynn. With his calm and careful approach, our participants experienced a great photo walk across the downtown.
We walk the routes before the events, identifying 5-6 prime locations and Paul supports the participants with tips and hands-on assistance throughout the evening.
