While these majestic animals are spectacular photography subjects, my real joy comes from observing their behaviour. Using photography, an incredible amount of insight can be gleaned into the amazing lives of birds.
Be it landscape, portrait, nature, macro, skyline or just getting out for a relaxing stroll, the Rouge has it all. Rouge National Urban Park is North America’s largest urban protected park and it’s right here in the GTA. All year round it’s an amazing place for a quick hike or if you’re passionate about photography it’s an awesome place for landscape or nature photos
Spring is a time for starting anew. Warmer weather, blooming flowers and the colour of nature returns from its winter sleep. It’s also a time for new life and new beginnings. As a photographer who enjoys shooting wildlife, I love this time of year. And, one of my favourite things to photograph in the spring is baby goslings.
We are under lockdown. But we can be creative about cherry blossom photography and still be safe and responsible. This article describes various options for shooting and viewing cherry blossoms in Toronto, but the techniques could work for any location anywhere.

It’s important to unplug but it might leave you feeling disconnected. Especially during a time when we can’t see our friends and family, wanting to go offline might make you feel like an outsider. Tdot Shots reached 20,000 followers – a very exciting milestone. The community is a special bunch of photographers and creatives from the Greater Toronto Area.
